If you’re looking for a dating app, GreekDates might seem like an attractive option. But don’t be fooled by its glossy exterior – it falls short when it comes to safety and security measures.

For starters, there’s no verification process in place that ensures users are who they say they are. That means anyone can sign up with any name or age without being held accountable if things go south down the line (and let me tell ya, that happens more often than not). Plus, there’s no way of knowing whether those profiles actually belong to real people or bots and fake accounts created just to scam unsuspecting daters out of their money or personal information. And even though photos have been known to get stolen from other sites and used on this one too – which is super sketchy btw – I couldn’t find anything about manual photo reviews anywhere on the site either! That said, two-step authentication isn’t available as far as I could see so your account won’t be protected against hackers trying access your data either…which makes me wonder what else GreekDates has left out of its privacy policy? What kind of info do they collect from us? How long do they keep our data for? These questions remain unanswered…at least by them anyway!

All in all then: unless you’re feeling particularly lucky today (or brave enough), my advice would be steer clear away from this one until proper safety protocols are put into place because at present GreekDates simply doesn’t cut it when it comes keeping users safe online!

First off, the free features are pretty much non-existent on GreekDates. Sure you can create an account for free but that’s about all you get – no messaging or searching capabilities whatsoever unless you upgrade your membership plan which is where things start getting really expensive in my opinion. Even then there isn’t much more than basic search functions available; nothing unique or special at all like some of its competitors have been offering lately (think swiping right/left). And forget about video chat options – they don’t even exist here! So if you’re looking for something with bells and whistles, keep walking because this ain’t the place for ya’.

Speaking of upgrades…the paid plans aren’t exactly cheap either so be prepared to fork over some serious cash if that’s what floats your boat when it comes to online dating sites. Not only do they charge per month but also per message sent – yikes!! That means every time someone sends a “hey hows it going?” type message through their system we gotta pay up again?? No thanks! Plus none of these fees include any kind of guarantee as far as finding love goes…so yeah not worth spending money on IMO (in my opinion).

All in all I’d say skip GreekDates altogether and go find yourself another fish in the sea cuz trust me…you won’t catch anything good here haha 😉
